MISSING MAN FROM CLINTON COUNTY FOUND DECEASED

Blount County Sheriff’s Office announced earlier today that the missing man from Clinton County was found deceased. Anthony Chris Haynes, age 58, was last seen in Louisville on Wednesday night. Officials stated his car and personal belongings were found on a private property on Little River near Alcoa Highway.

FORMER FORT CAMPBELL SOLDIER & WIFE SENTENCED TO FEDERAL PRISON FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CRIMES

Montgomery County, TN-Kara Adkins and Robert Adkins were indicted in January 2018 for conspiracy to produce child pornography and other related charges and pleaded guilty in October 2021. Kara Adkins pleaded guilty to production, transportation, and possession of child sexual abuse material. Robert Adkins pleaded guilty to receipt and possession of child sexual abuse material.

WRECK ON HWY 127 INJURED SIX PEOPLE LAST WEEK

On Friday, August 5th, an accident happened in Fentress County in front of the Cumberland General Store. Around 2 PM a Ford Focus was traveling south on Hwy 127 when the driver turned left and struck a Chevy Malibu that was traveling north. The driver of the Ford Focus and the other front seat passenger were taken to the Cumberland Medical for minor injuries. A female, age 44, who was sitting in the backseat was transported for serious injuries. In the back seat of the car were also a baby, less than a year old with no injuries and a two-year-old who had minor injuries.

KNOX COUNTY WOMAN INDENTIFIED AS VICTIM FROM 1996 COLD CASE

GRAINGER COUNTY – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help in providing information about a homicide that occurred more than 25 years ago. In September 1996, TBI agents were requested to assist the Grainger County Sheriff’s Office in investigating the discovery of human remains that were found by hunters in a wooded area just off Dale Road in the Powder Springs section of Grainger County. Based on evidence found at the scene, the case was ruled a homicide. With assistance from the University of Tennessee Anthropology Department, the remains were determined to be those of a female who was believed to be 30-40 years old. However, investigators could not determine the individual’s identity, and she was listed as a Jane Doe.
