Two Inmates Escape from Casper Re-Entry Center

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office reported the escape of two people from Casper Re-Entry Center (CRC). The two, Samantha Malcom, 33 year old white female, 5 foot 2 inches, 130 pounds, brown hair, green eyes, and Austin Lawrence, 22 year old white male, 6 foot 260 pounds, brown hair and green eyes, are believed to be in a relationship.

Yellowstone Bison Sends Woman To Hospital

Score another win for the bison. Another human, who should have known better, is in the hospital. It happened Monday in Yellowstone National Park, this time with a 30-year-old woman. Across the Country, Wyomingites Feel the Most Safe

A recent study by Safewise shows that 26% of Wyoming residents are worried about their safety on a daily basis, compared to the national average of 47%. The study also polls on states where people feel the most safe, and Wyoming ranks number one, with 86% of people saying they feel safe, compared to New Hampshire in second at 80%, and Louisiana in last at 34%.

Wyoming Troopers Write 29% More 100+ MPH Speeding Tickets in 2020

Although the COVID-19 pandemic may have caused people to drive less in 2020, many of those who did drive were driving faster, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Captain David Wagener says the patrol saw a 15 percent decrease in speed citations issued while seeing a 29 percent increase in speed citations being issued in excess of 100-plus mph.
