Library group organizes book sale
Members of the Friends of the Champaign County Library are busy preparing for the upcoming book sale. In preparation for the Friends of the Champaign County Library Book Sale, community members are invited to donate gently-used books for this sale at the Champaign County Main Library located at 1060 Scioto Street, Urbana, through Monday, April 29.

West Liberty Salem Track Wins Champaign County Meet;
The West Liberty-Salem girls track and field team won the Champaign County meet Monday at Urbana’s Boyce Street Athletic Complex. Individual champions for the Tigers were Tori Douthwaite Pole Vault (9’06”), Delaney Jones 100 Meter Dash (12.27), Sophia Hardwick 300 Meter Hurdles (48.51), the 4×800 Meter Relay team of Lily Smith, Mariska Smith, Mylee Dooley and Taylor Kennedy (11:22.9) and the 4×100 Relay team of Tori Douthwaite, Chloe Griffith, Alaina Irving and Claire Longshore (52.91).
