Garrett LeRoy ‘Bing’ Lucht, 71

Garrett LeRoy ‘Bing’ Lucht was born on May 8, 1952 in Valentine, NE to Edward and Genieve (Turner) Lucht. His early school years were spent in Wood Lake, NE, then his freshman year, he went to Ainsworth High School where he graduated in 1971.

He married Mary Passyka on August 14, 1971 in Ainsworth, NE. They made their home in Schuyler, NE where Bing worked for a rancher by O’Neill, NE. Bing and Mary started their business, Chambers Feed & Supply, in 1982 in Chambers, NE. They added custom haying and trucking which Bing enjoyed.

They were blessed with their son, Brandon, in 1985. God took Brandon to his Heavenly home in 2009.

Left to mourn is his wife of 51 years, Mary Lucht of Chambers; his two sisters, Bonnie Finley and Eva Nollette; brother, Ernie Lucht; a dear sister-in-law, Sandra Passyka and her family; and too many friends and family to mention.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings. A Memorial Service for Garrett LeRoy ‘Bing’ Lucht, was held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Biglin’s Mortuary of O’Neill with Rev. Mike Durre officiating. A private family Graveside Service was in the Chambers Cemetery. Bing passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill. Memorials were suggested to the Chambers Fire & Rescue Department. Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin’s Mortuary of O’Neill.
