CEDAR PARK, Texas — Well-known Austin eatery The Peached Tortilla is expanding to Cedar Park.
According to a report from CultureMap Austin, the restaurant will be bringing its modern Asian-Southern fusion cuisine to a new location in Cedar Park later this year.
The new restaurant, located at 1915 E. Whitestone Blvd., will seat 82 diners inside and another 38 outside on its patio. CultureMap reports that the new location will look similar to The Peached Tortilla's Austin locations and will feature the same menu items before adding more that are exclusive to Cedar Park location.
The Peached Tortilla started out as a food truck in 2010. Since then, it has grown into a multi-restaurant operation that includes a location on Burnet Road; an outpost inside the Austin airport; Bar Peached, a bar-focused restaurant concept in the Clarksville neighborhood; and a virtual food hall kitchen in Boise, Idaho.
The Peached Tortilla's operations also include an event space called Peached Social House and a full service catering company.
The Peached Tortilla's founder, Eric Silverstein, has also published a memoir-cookbook, "The Peached Tortilla: Modern Asian Comfort Food from Tokyo Texas."
