Video shows smoking semi truck crashing into trees after coming down Broad Mountain

Video captured in Pennsylvania over the weekend shows a smoking semi truck crashing through a parking lot and into a wooded area.

The video was captured at 6:38 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, in the Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, area.

The video was captured and shared by property owner Joe Pilla .

Pilla said surveillance cameras captured a runaway truck coming off of Rte. 93 (Broad Mountain).

The driver survived the crash without major injuries, according to Pilla.

Been driving 35 years still am but the quality of drivers definitely declined over the years. Low pay and non English speaking more common. Yep companies advertise big bucks but neglect to say to make that you will work 70 plus hours a week, live in a truck shower at some crappy truck stop spend endless time away often with nothing to do. Then it’s load and go repeat. Not an easy lifestyle by no means. Probably following gps and couldn’t read English.
