National Association for College Admission Counseling to host free college fair

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A free college fair will be held at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex on Sept. 8.

From 1- 8 p.m., the National Association for College Admission Counseling is inviting students, parents and counselors to the NACAC National College Fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with college admission representatives, talk to college counselors, learn about gap years and summer programs, attend workshops and more. Attendees will also have access to a user-friendly app designed for the fair.

Early registrants have the option to utilize the NACAC’s MatchMaking feature. This feature allows students to select the attributes that are most important to them in colleges and universities and be referred to the institutions that fit their provided criteria. Students can use this reference to connect with their best college matches at the fair.
