On Aug. 3, a cat owner posted her feline’s attempt at finding her humans after she got lost after they moved houses. The black cat’s owners recently moved homes, shifting from their apartment to a much bigger house. This has left the kitty wandering the hallways, calling for them until she finally figures out which direction to go.

A bigger house means more space to play. However, black cat Pooka was confused when her family moved to a bigger home. The hilarious TikTok video’s on-screen caption stated the cat “keeps getting lost” after they moved from an apartment to a house. The kitty tends to wander off and calls for her family when she finds herself all alone. Pooka often goes missing and navigates the property by listening to her pet parents’ voices as they call for her.

The black cat lives with Christine Scherer and Ethan Scarduzio. Scherer told Newsweek , “It’s been a big adjustment moving from a small apartment to a house for all of us but it’s been an exciting change…”

In the video, the cat owners managed to capture how Pooka finds her family members after they moved houses. As Scarduzio and Scherer busied themselves with chores, the black cat could be heard calling for them from another section of their new home. They then keep communicating with her as she follows their voices to pinpoint their location.

The adorable feline’s little head pops into the frame as the meows get louder. After entering the room, Pooka quickly scans the space to check that both her parents are there. She then proceeds to demand cuddles from Scherer for doing a good job not getting lost in the new house. The cat owner noted that Pooka has “always been very vocal and likes to make her thoughts known.”
