The Cass County Prosecutor’s Office is pleased to announce and introduce one of our newest interns for this summer, Kylie Hughes. Kylie graduated from Lewis Cass Jr/Sr High School in 2021. She is currently a student at Indiana University Kokomo with plans of receiving a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law in 2024. After she graduates with her undergrad, Kylie would like to attend law school to become a prosecutor.

What are you looking forward to the most while being an intern?

“I am looking forward to learning everything that I can over the summer. However, I am exceptionally excited about sitting in on trials to learn the process. I believe that this internship will help me decide if this is the career that I want to pursue, as well as helping me gain experience before heading to law school.”
