A Silver Creek teen is accused of entering over a dozen vehicles in southern Floyd County and stealing a number of items, including at least seven pistols. ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - An Acworth Police Department K-9 is being credited with tracking down a man wanted for financial fraud and trafficking methamphetamine. On March 19, Acworth officer Anthony Trapani pulled a man over on Main Street who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. During the course the traffic stop, Trapani said the man ran away.

Two Cherokee Sheriff's Office Deputies Graduate From Training
Two Cherokee Sheriff’s Office deputies recently graduated from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Pickens County, the sheriff’s office announced. CSO Deputies John Senay and Caitlen Troglin completed 408 hours of P.O.S.T. mandated police training over the past 11 weeks. The deputies were sworn in by Sheriff Frank Reynolds March 22. Senay and Troglin are currently assigned to the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
