Firefighters in Carter Lake called for help from nearby towns as smoke poured from every window of a home on Monday morning.Crews battled not only the flames but the heat at a residence near 15th and Avenue P.Mutual aid from Omaha and Crescent had to be called in to help knock down the fire.
