Madison Alford, a junior at Oldham County High School, is the Courier Journal Student of the Week. Madison has a 4.0 grade point average and has been a leader in our district's STEM Engineering Academy and Creative and Performing Arts Academy (CAPAA) for visual art. She will represent Oldham County High School at this summer's Governor's School for the Arts in the area of visual art. Madison is involved in a wide variety of extracurricular activities. She is a three-year member of the girls soccer team, a member of our school's chapter of the National Honor Society, and she is active in her church's youth ministry program.
