A Carroll woman has been ordered to serve up to five years in prison on a drug trafficking charge. According to Carroll County District Court records, 32-year-old Taylor Marie Frank pled guilty in April to possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, a class D felony, and was sentenced on May 25. The charge stems from a Nov. 10, 2022 interaction with the Carroll Police Department. Authorities say Frank was found in possession of at least nine ounces of marijuana that had been packaged into one-ounce increments, a scale, and nearly $500 in cash. The charge against Frank also carried enhanced penalties due to several prior felony convictions, including prohibited acts and criminal mischief in Carroll County.
