WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - One man is in custody following a shooting that killed 30-year-old Coty Allen Gales. 50-year-old James Riley Spivey is accused of shooting Gales at 8:49 p.m. on Friday, December 8. It happened on Vacation Street in Supply. Spivey is charged with first degree murder.
New Hanover County man arrested on numerous charges
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man was arrested Thursday on numerous charges. Kevin Amir Spears-Dowe, 23, was charged with robbery common law, discharge firearm in a reckless manner, assault and battery, burglary 1st degree, larceny of a firearm, fail to appear on misdemeanor, domestic criminal trespass and fail to appear on felony.
