TRUCKEE, Calif. – On November 28, Truckee Town Council approved four new and updated accessory dwelling unit (ADU) incentive programs to supplement the existing ADU Program. The goal of Truckee’s ADU Program is to encourage the permitting of existing unpermitted ADUs, and to increase the inventory of ADUs as a means of expanding affordable, long-term housing within existing neighborhoods. LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. — Beginning December 1, entries for new moorings such as buoys and boat lifts can be submitted by lakefront owners to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency for the annual lottery drawing allowed under the Lake Tahoe Shoreline Plan.
