Softball Game Recap: Paris Comes Up Short
If Paris was riding high off their 15-0 takedown of Berea last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Paris Greyhounds lost 11-1 to the Frankfort Panthers on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Paris of the 16-11 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Pennridge High School teacher named 'Coolest Teacher' in 'The Preston & Steve Show' contest
A Pennridge High School teacher was just named the coolest teacher last week by her students in a 93.3 WMMR-FM “The Preston & Steve Show” daily contest. Tammy Rissmiller, also known as “Ms. Riss,” won the award last Thursday in the radio contest. As part of her prizes, Rissmiller got a $50 Dunkin gift card, a $50 Visa gift card from College Ave, a “The Preston & Steve Show” Coolest Teacher mug, and prestigious bragging rights.
