Cape Girardeau church performs Taps Across America

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Trinity Lutheran Church’s brass section performed Taps on Monday afternoon, May 29 for Taps Across America.
The public and members of the congregation were invited to watch the performance, held at 3 p.m.
“I was not able to be in the service to our country, but my dad was he was in the Air Force and its just a small way that I can maybe help to honor his service and the service of all those who gave so much for our freedoms,” said Rick Wieser, the director of the brass section.
The event was held for the first time in three years.
