Consistent summer sun is just around the corner and now is the time to check your bucket list and see what type of summer activities are on your list! The most common type of summer activities varies from biking, hiking, swimming, rafting and weekend warrior races. One of the most important things to think about is just how ready is your body to tackle the bucket list?

The foundational workout strategy is to emphasize muscles that aid joint and ligament support for stability. Using resista balls, bosu balls, and balance boards are great for structural stability and will also work your core muscle groups. If you have been working on leg and core exercises to prepare for that long-awaited hike or biking event or working on shoulder and upper back strength for rafting and open water swimming, then you are ahead of schedule! If not, consider a small investment and try finding a trainer who can help you with achieving your challenges.

Club Fit will be offering a special of 5 training session packages for 15% off with the code words: CORE FIT TRAINING. Training for summer activities is also important.

    A great suggestion would be:

Cut back on starchy, processed food, and artificial sugars.

Increase protein intake to 40% consumption including chicken, tuna, eggs and powders.

Protein is the least likely macro nutrient to be converted to fat.

DRINK AT LEAST 1 GALLON OF WATER PER DAY.
