This week in Clinton County, Missouri, there were two notable incidents. The first incident involved a two-vehicle crash on northbound I-35 near Cameron. A dump truck and a Pontiac G6 collided, resulting in injuries to the driver of the Pontiac who was sent to the hospital. The second incident occurred on Highway 116, where a 73-year-old driver experienced a medical emergency and crashed his vehicle. He was transported to Liberty Hospital with moderate injuries. Additionally, the Cameron Police Department unveiled a new drone, purchased with funds from the police and fire tax and a grant.

CALDWELL COUNTY, MO – A Michigan driver was injured last night in an accident near Hamilton. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as both 63-year old Troy, Michigan resident Bandyak Volodymr and 49-year old Brian Frederick of St. Joseph were westbound on U.S. Hwy 36, 3 miles east of Hamilton around 10:10 pm. Frederick was driving slowly on the shoulder attempting to merge into the driving lane when Volodymr’s vehicle struck Frederick’s in the rear. Both vehicles traveled off the north side of the roadway and came to rest, partially blocking the roadway.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reports two bookings for area law enforcement. Friday, Chillicothe Police Department booked 36-year-old Shane Owen Glasgow into the Caldwell County Detention Center on a warrant for alleged failure to appear on a charge of alleged driving while revoked or suspended. Bond is set at $20,000 cash only.

Four arrests for the area counties are reported by the Missouri Highway Patrol for the weekend. Friday, Troopers in Adair County arrested 35-year-old Derek L Ayers of Milan on warrants from Adair County for alleged stolen vehicle and property damage and a warrant from Macon County for alleged burglary. He is held at the Adair County Jail with no bond allowed.
