Shots Fired on Douglas Street, Police Seek Witnesses

CAMBRIDGE, MD – Police are investigating a shooting incident that took place this weekend in Cambridge.

On Saturday, Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers responded to a Shot Spotter Alert in the 700 block of Douglas Street, where multiple shots were reportedly fired.

Officers found a residence struck by gunfire and several spent shell casings in the area. A witness reported seeing a subject chasing another with a gun, and either a truck or an SUV leaving the scene. Police are seeking information from witnesses, who may remain anonymous.
