Calhoun County YMCA Hosts Annual Spring Run/Walk: Lace Up Your Sneakers for a Good Cause

Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County YMCA, in partnership with Anniston Orthopaedics, is gearing up for its highly anticipated annual Spring Run/Walk event, set to take place on Saturday, April 27th, starting at 8:00 AM. Lace up your sneakers, gather your friends and family, and join us for a morning of fitness, fun, and community spirit as we hit the pavement for a 5K journey through historic downtown Anniston.

For years, the Spring Run/Walk has been a beloved tradition in Calhoun County, bringing together fitness enthusiasts of all ages and abilities for a day of outdoor activity and camaraderie. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or somewhere in between, this event offers something for everyone.

Participants in the 5K will have the opportunity to explore the picturesque streets of historic downtown Anniston as they make their way along the scenic route. Take in the sights and sounds of our charming city while getting in your daily dose of exercise and enjoying the company of fellow participants.

After crossing the finish line, participants can refuel with refreshments and snacks provided by local sponsors. Stick around for the awards ceremony, where top finishers in various categories will be recognized for their achievements.
