Stalled Front Brings Heavy Rain to North Florida Including Tallahassee, Jacksonville, and Gainesville Next Week With Several Inches Possible Regardless of Gulf Development
TALLAHASSEE, FL — A stalled front is expected to deliver solid rainfall totals across much of Florida next week, regardless of whether anything tropical forms in the Gulf. The heaviest totals are likely to end up across North Florida, including the Panhandle and the Big Bend. The seven-day rainfall outlook runs from Saturday, October 3 through Saturday, October 10. Tropical development in the Gulf remains possible, but the rain threat does not depend on it.

Flood Watch issued as rounds of rain move in
TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) — Rain got an early start Sunday morning and it has no intentions on stopping through the rest of the day. Tropical moisture is continuing to funnel in from the Gulf allowing for plenty of moisture to be in place. Once that is mixed with even more moisture from in approaching front, showers have ample amount of energy to last through the rest of the weekend.
