The French Pole Vaulter Who Went Viral For Knocking The Bar Off With His Bulge Spoke Out About The Mishap

My entire timeline has been obsessed with French pole vaulter, Anthony Ammirati.

He, uh, knocked the bar over with what appeared to be his, well, you-know-what.

The clip went mega viral.

Anthony came in 15th place...

...and now he's speaking out about the mishap.

Anthony told the French Athletics Federation , "It's a big disappointment."

"The conditions were good. It’s the first time I’ve started a competition without any stress," he continued . "As I was a total outsider, I only had one goal: to play with the audience. I was almost there."

Well, that's certainly a bummer but hopefully he'll get another shot in 2028!
