I recently celebrated my 19th anniversary as a Costco employee, and needless to say, I've learned a lot about which products are worth buying from the store. Costco, which is a leading retailer in customer satisfaction , always seems to carry high-quality items at great prices.

This September, the warehouse is carrying a few new food options and items for fall. Here are 10 items I recommend checking out at Costco this month.

If you're looking for moisturizing lip products, you might want to grab a pack of the Eos super balm.

With cooler weather approaching, you might want to stock up on tubes of Eos super balm to keep your lips hydrated and smooth.

This Calvin Klein coat is available in black and beige and ranges in sizes from small to 2XL. It has two front pockets, a removable belt, and snap buttons.

I've seen Calvin Klein in department stores, but items from the brand are usually a fraction of the price at Costco. This particular trench coat is $50 at my location.

The East West Cuisine chicken katsu serves as an easy lunch or dinner.

If you're looking for a quick and easy lunch or dinner, I recommend picking up the East West Cuisine chicken katsu.

Each box comes with individually packaged seasoned chicken-breast cutlets, katsu sauce, and breading packets.

At my store, a box of chicken katsu costs about $8 per pound, which comes out to just under $20.

Upgrade your home with the iHome Hollywood Pro mirror with Bluetooth.

This month, Costco's bakery is offering another new item: raspberry morning buns.

Each buttery, croissant-like bun is coated with granulated sugar and contains a raspberry filling. They can be served as is or warmed for a few seconds in the microwave.

A nine-pack of these ready-to-eat buns is $9 at my store.

If you make drinks at home, it might be worth getting the Frigidaire Gallery nugget-ice maker.

In my opinion, ice makes a difference in any drink. My Costco just received the Frigidaire Gallery ice maker, which can produce 44 pounds of ice in a day.

The device has a touchscreen control panel and an auto self-cleaning function. The ice basket can hold up to 3 pounds, and the device is compact enough to fit on almost any counter.

At my store, the Frigidaire Gallery nugget-ice maker costs $200.

Collect Halloween candy with the Squishmallow plush treat pails.

With Halloween around the corner, you don't want to miss out on the 16-inch Squishmallow treat pails — they're a great gift for kids.

Each treat pail is made with ultrasoft fabric, so it's comfortable to hold. They also come in black, pink, and green colors.

The Squishmallow treat pails, which are available for a limited time, are $18 at my store.

The Amara organic yogurt smoothie melts are a tasty treat for kids.

The kids' floor loungers would make great gifts.

The kids' floor loungers at my Costco are selling out fast. The loungers, which can serve as both a floor pillow and chair, come in Hello Kitty and Bluey designs.

Each lounger is made with 100% polyester and shredded foam for maximum comfort. I think they'd make the perfect gift for a child.

The kids' floor loungers cost $80 at my Costco.

This month, you might want to check out gold bars at Costco, too.

Buying gold bars can be a good investment, and Costco carries this metal in-store and online when it's available.

When we get them in stock, they tend to sell very quickly, and prices can vary according to their value. At my store, gold bars are currently selling for $2,560.

Just keep in mind that gold bars can't be returned.
