More heavy rain chances possible
25 EVENING WEATHER — More wet weather is likely for Central Texas and the Brazos Valley Wednesday as a storm system slowly lifts north from southwest Texas. The heaviest rain will be in the Hill Country and southwest Texas. This is where major flooding is likely, especially west of Austin and San Antonio. For us, we will see waves of scattered showers and storms. It won't rain all the time at any one location, but pockets of heavy rain are likely through Wednesday afternoon. If you come to an area where water covers the road...Turn Around, Don't Drown. Lows tonight will fall into the low to mid 70s, with highs Wednesday in the mid 80s.

More rounds of heavy rainfall expected through Tuesday and Wednesday
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - After a soggy start to the work week, additional rounds of heavy rainfall are on the way as we step into Tuesday and Wednesday. A weak boundary to our north will be the main focal point for activity through mid-week this week. In addition, multiple pulses of atmospheric energy will be moving around a ridge to our north. This setup means rain won’t be a one-time event — expect showers and storms to develop, move through, and redevelop as the atmosphere destabilizes.

July rain to push temperatures down into the 80s
CENTRAL TEXAS — Today was another hot one, with a high of 98. That means every day this week was between 98 and 100 degrees in Waco. A few scattered storms got to Snook and Grosebeck thanks to the Gulf's Sea Breeze. That should be active again Saturday and Sunday, meaning scattered or isolated thunderstorms for not only the Brazos Valley, but locations as far north as Highway-84, including Waco. Temperatures will be in the mid-90s.
