BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Police Department’s non-emergency phone lines are back up after experiencing a network outage that affected the lines Tuesday night, which they had announced in a tweet.
BPD said the outage affected the non-emergency phone lines in all five districts, but 911 and police response were not impacted.
For non-emergency needs, residents were asked to call 716-853-2222, and asked to use 911 in the event of an emergency.
