Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills continue to add some depth pieces in free agency with the secondary getting the latest bolstering on Friday.

The Bills made the signing of free agent safety Taylor Rapp official, as he inks a one-year contract in Buffalo. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter originally reported the signing on Monday after Rapp made a prior free agent visit with the New England Patriots earlier in March.
ESPN NFL insider Field Yates reports Rapp's contract is worth $1.77 million, which he says will not count towards the 2024 compensatory pick formula.
Rapp was a former second-round pick (61st overall) of the Los Angeles Rams in the 2019 NFL Draft out of the University of Washington.
Over the course of his four seasons in the NFL, Rapp has appeared in 57 games, starting 48 of them, picking up 330 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, nine interceptions and one touchdown.
Rapp's best season in Los Angeles came during the 2021 season when he was part of a Rams defense that helped carried the franchise to their second Super Bowl championship. That season saw Rapp start 17 games, registering 94 tackles, two tackles for loss, three quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks, and four interceptions.
After suffering a concussion at the end of the regular season, Rapp was able to dress for the Super Bowl, where he picked up seven tackles.
During his three seasons of college football at Washington, Rapp was named the Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year in 2016, followed by two-straight seasons as part of the First-Team All-Pac-12 in 2017 and 2018.
