Car wrapped around tree after crash in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

BRYN MAWR, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Rescuers are on the scene after a horrific crash in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

The crash happened near the intersection of S. Bryn Mawr Avenue and Academy Lane.

That's where a car crashed into a tree.

The vehicle was partially wrapped around the tree, with debris scattered all around the scene.

The cause of this crash is not yet known.

There was no immediate word on the condition of the driver and whether anyone else was in the car.
