BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Construction began on Highway 172 in Brown County on Monday.
Gov. Tony Evers signed a $17.2 million contract and a $7.1 million contract to improve over eight miles of the highway.
The work will be from the Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport entrance to I-43.
Officials expect the project to be completed by November.
The highway will remain open with lane closures and flagging operations, but ramps in the project area may be closed for a time.
