This week in Yolo County, California, several incidents occurred that required law enforcement intervention. These incidents included a violent assault in Dunnigan, multiple bomb threats in Davis, a fentanyl bust resulting in two arrests, and a request for investigation into the death of a research monkey at the University of California, Davis.

The man, who is already facing a fentanyl murder charge in El Dorado County, was charged with eight new counts, federal prosecutors said.

Not much information has been released regarding a fire in Pope Valley. Cal Fire reports that a vehicle fire happened yesterday near the 2300 block of Dollarhide Road. Three tractors were destroyed, another tractor was damaged and about 60 bales of hay were consumed in the fire. Firefighters stayed on scene to mop up into the evening. It appears no one was injured. There’s no word on how the fire started.
