Fire in Pope Valley Destroys Tractors and Bales of Hay
Not much information has been released regarding a fire in Pope Valley. Cal Fire reports that a vehicle fire happened yesterday near the 2300 block of Dollarhide Road. Three tractors were destroyed, another tractor was damaged and about 60 bales of hay were consumed in the fire. Firefighters stayed on scene to mop up into the evening. It appears no one was injured. There’s no word on how the fire started.

SUTTER, Calif. — A 16-year-old girl died Wednesday morning after her car overturned into a canal in Sutter County.
