‘I Wanna Dance with You’: Minna LaFortune

Jamaican-born Minna LaFortune’s fans are delighted by her latest release “I Wanna Dance with You,” a catchy dance song that expresses the desire to dance and embrace one’s special love.

The song blends reggae and mento rhythms in a moderate tempo. This is LaFortune’s eighth single since she started her recording career in March 2022.

The Brooklyn resident has also released seven music videos on her YouTube channel, showcasing her versatile musical styles that range from reggae, ska, dancehall and soca.

Her previous singles are: “Summer Love,” “Jump and Whine,” “Dream Big,” “Christmas in Kingston,” “My Secret Valentine,” “Mek A Money” and “Gifts of Nature.”

LaFortune said she is preparing to launch her first EP in June this year, which will feature 10 songs, including all her singles and two new tracks.

One of the new tracks is a dub version of “Mek A Money”, and the other one is a special dedication to the men in the world, which will be released on June 15 2023.

LaFortune said her songs have received rave reviews from her growing fan base, who praise her beautiful vocals, clear lyrics and uplifting messages.
