Two men shot in broad-daylight NYC attack in Brooklyn, cops say

Two men were shot and wounded in a broad-daylight Brooklyn attack Friday, police said.

One of the men, 64, was grazed in the left side of the face and the other, a 25-year-old, was shot in the right leg in front of 12 Newkirk Plaza in Ditmas Park around 9:45 a.m., cops said.

A video of the incident shows two men sitting on a bench and falling to the sidewalk.

The man in the white clothing and red hat — who appears to be the 64-year-old — was shot, while the other man, who seemed to be with him, dropped down for cover.

A second later, another shooting victim — apparently the 25-year-old — is seen falling to the ground, in the upper right-hand corner of the frame.

A crowd soon formed around the older victim as he lay on the ground.

Both men were hospitalized in stable condition, police said.

The motive for the violence was not immediately known. It is also unclear whether the men were targeted or innocent bystanders.
