NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man groped a 16-year-old girl while demanding her cellphone on a Brooklyn subway train this week, police said.

The NYPD released images Thursday of the suspect in Monday’s robbery and sex attack in Clinton Hill.

The girl was on a northbound C train approaching the Clinton–Washington Avenues station at 6:40 a.m. when the man sat down next to her and stuck his hand into her jacket pocket, police said.

He then put his hand on her crotch and demanded her cellphone, according to police.

The girl took her phone out of her jacket for the man, who grabbed it and fled the train at the Clinton–Washington Avenues stop, police said.

Police believe the suspect is between 20 and 30 years old.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
