BROOKHAVEN — A cool breeze, shade, blooming magnolias and bustling people set the scene at Railroad Park. Brookhaven Farmers Market, held each Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the summer, offers a variety of vendors and goods.

Nekita Jackson with Destiny Delights was selling cakes, cupcakes and all types of treats at the market as were Bake n Bloom.

Stop by to see Smith’s Nature Friendly Farm, Melanie Wallace Vegies, Dean Acres Grass-Fed Beef, The Blue Rooster, The artist and The Flower, Oopsie Daisy Sweet Treats, Anita’s Homemade Goodies, In Boolms Garden and Gifts, Pell Farms, Special Guest Crafter Brians Slings and The Master Gardeners.

Ralph Miller sang California Dreaming and other classic tunes from the center stage.

You still have an hour to get out there and enjoy the festivities. Don’t forget, Four Way Stop will play at Railroad Park at 7 p.m. Friday night.

Railroad Park is located on Whitworth Avenue across the street from the Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce building, Serio’s, Magnolia Blues and by the Foster Smith Log Cabin next to the railroad tracks.
