BROOKHAVEN — Brown butcher paper fills the doors and windows of El Dorado Mexican Bar and Grill and screens anyone from being able to look inside. A sign on the door says the restaurant apologizes for closing suddenly. 

Located at 912 Brookway Boulevard in Brookhaven, El Dorado says in their message to customers their reason for closing are due to staffing issues and a change in management. A patio area on the side of the restaurant is void of chairs. 

“We ask that you bear with us as we make this transition in the months to come,” El Dorado’s sign states. “We appreciate the support and business that we have shared over the past few years and look forward to continuing to serve you in the near future. This isn’t a good bye but a see you soon, thank you.”
