According to the New York Post , the Bronx prosecutor resigned from his position in the Bronx District Attorney’s office four days after the group Dads Against Predators , a group of internet vigilantes who expose alleged child predators, posted footage of him online.
In the now-viral clip, which was taken on July 8 around 8:30 p.m., the vigilantes filmed themselves running down on the Bronx prosecutor, whom they claim allegedly attempted to meet up with a 13-year-old boy whom he’s been speaking with online. The men confront the attorney in a parking lot of the Target on East Sandford Boulevard in Mount Vernon, New York. One of the older men confronts the attorney, calling him “Marcus,” which suggests he allegedly used a phony name online.
The man says something else inaudible and then the Bronx attorney starts running away. The group of vigilantes starts chasing him in the parking lot, with the initial confronter screaming, “Excuse me, everybody! This man right here came to meet a 13-year-old boy. This man is a pedophile in your city.”

Another man, who is holding the camera, adds, “Marcus is a pedophile trying to meet a 13-year-old boy.” The chase quickly ends when a random man intervenes and places Kemp-Neal in a chokehold. The man behind the camera yells out, “Get his b*tch a**. He’s trying to f**k a 13-year-old boy.” All of the vigilantes continue to repeat aloud that “Marcus” is a “pedophile” and “tried to meet a 13-year-old boy.”
Once all of the men catch up to the now-former Bronx prosecutor, the man holding the camera asks him, “Hey! What are you doing here, Marcus? You trying to meet a 13-year-old boy, Marcus? You want to take him to get a milkshake, right Marcus? You didn’t, Marcus?”
He then yells out to the parking lot, “Child predator in the Bronx. Trying to meet a 13-year-old boy!” Diverting his attention back to the Kemp-Neal, the man behind the camera says, “This is what you get for trying to meet a little boy. Yeah, you were trying to get a milkshake with him, huh? You were trying to get real familiar?”

After the video went viral, the New York Post reports that the Bronx prosecutor, who allegedly attempted to meet up with a 13-year-old boy he met online, “abruptly resigned from his post.” The site reports that William C.C. Kemp-Neal, who graduated from Fordham Law in 2021 and made $84,990 as an ADA, mostly handled assault, harassment, and child endangerment cases.
Speaking with the Post, DA Darcel Clark ’s office shared, “William Kemp-Neal worked here as an ADA from June 28, 2020, until July 17, 2024. He resigned from the office.” The outlet also shared that Mount Vernon Police officials were called to the scene and upon their arrival they questioned everyone present. No one was arrested in the aftermath, however, the police released a statement announcing that officers “encountered several individuals making allegations of wrongdoing,” and they promised a “comprehensive investigation.”
