NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The mother of a 6-year-old girl who was found dead with signs of abuse in a filthy Bronx apartment Friday was charged Saturday for abusing her two other children, a 3-year-old girl and 8-year-old boy, the New York Daily News reported Sunday.
Jalayah Eason, the 6-year-old daughter of Lynija Eason, 26, was found with bruises and trauma to her wrists and body, according to officials.
Police charged Eason with child endangerment for alleged abuse and neglect against the two other children.
An autopsy will determine whether the 6-year-old’s death was a homicide. Eason could face further charges once the autopsy is complete.
