This question enraged the suspect, 50s, who allegedly returned with a gang, including her daughters, and beat the clerk.
No arrests have been made yet in this violent attack – despite clear-as-day security footage. Video from the scene shows the “surprise and terror” in the stock boy’s eyes as he tried to break up the brawl. Incidents like this one are why organizations are working to get special protection for grocers as frontline workers.
