Woman, 54, has metal object placed to head by trio sought in Bronx robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Friday released a photo of a three suspects wanted in a Bronx robbery earlier this week, authorities said.

It happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, in the vicinity of West 260th Street and Tyndall Avenue in North Riverdale, officials said.

According to police, three unknown suspects approached a 54-year-old woman and placed a metal object against her head.

The suspects put the victim on the ground and stole her coat, purse, approximately $300, a cellphone, credit cards and car keys.

The trio fled on foot northbound on Broadway.

The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of this incident.

All three suspects are described as males approximately 17-20 years old.

The first suspect was last seen wearing black jeans, a black jacket with the hood up and black and white sneakers.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black and red sneakers.

The third suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the words "Don't get emotional its only broken promises".
