City of Broken Arrow crews are being forced to wait until a swollen creek recedes before a major water line break can be repaired.
At 7:45 p.m. Thursday evening, the City of Broken Arrow said it experienced a major water line break that began to impact the city's water storage.
Crews said due to heavy rains experienced Thursday evening and Friday morning, they were having difficulty finding the break.
The city implemented emergency operations plans to help stabilize the water storage.
Broken Arrow is experiencing areas of low water pressure on the west and south sides of the city due to the break. The city says water pressure may be low in those areas of the city for an extended period of time.

Emergency crews were able to find the water line break and isolate it from the city's system by 3 a.m. Friday morning.
Crews will have to wait until the swollen creek recedes to make repairs.
