The Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate forum Thursday night ahead of the upcoming City Council elections in April.
The event is moderated by the chamber and will allow candidates to present their platforms and answer questions from the community.
“Advocacy is a large part of our mission," said Jennifer Conway the president & CEO of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation. “We strive to be the leading voice for Broken Arrow business owners and the community on city issues and advocate to ensure a pro-growth business environment. Opportunities like the Candidate Forum are important to us because it presents an opportunity for the community to have face time with candidates before casting their vote.”
The event is free and open to the public. It is being held in the Central on Main Ballroom and begins at 7 p.m.
Ward 3 candidates Christi Gillespie and Mike Lest, Ward 4 candidates Scott Eudey and Joe Franco, and at large candidates George Ghesquire, Johnnie Parks, and William Vaughn are all confirmed to attend.
