Police investigating two weekend stabbings in Massachusetts

The incidents occured at the Jackson Square MBTA Station in Boston and in Brockton

A man was reportedly stabbed at the Jackson Square MBTA station in Jamaica Plain on Saturday night.

MBTA Transit Police confirmed to WCVB that they were investigating a stabbing that took place at the station at around 9pm.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and no arrests have been made.

The Boston Police Department and the MBTA Transit Police Department were still searching for a suspect on Sunday.

Meanwhile, a 41-year-old man was stabbed to death in Brockton, Massachusetts, on Saturday morning.

Police found the man lying on Belmont Avenue at around 4:40am while they were out investigating a robbery.

The man was brought to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His identity has not yet been released and the investigation is ongoing.
