Disturbance: Broadview Road
On Feb. 12, police were dispatched to Marc’s regarding a disturbance at the Broadview Road store.
An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said that while he was buying meat, he was assaulted by an employee.
The shopper said that after asking a question, the employee gave him attitude and refused to serve him. That’s when the customer found the manager.
They both returned to the deli counter, where the employee decided to quit rather than serve the customer.
While walking out, the disgruntled employee allegedly used his body to “push” the customer out of the way.
Police are investigating.
Property damage: Homestead Creek Drive
On Feb. 17, police were dispatched to a Homestead Creek Drive home regarding property damage.
An arriving officer located the home, which had a shattered front glass door. The caller said she woke up that morning to find the glass cracked.
Looking at her Ring camera, the resident saw a juvenile kick in the front door. The boy left with an accomplice, heading toward Avery Road.
The caller said her daughter had heard a noise at the time, but didn’t think anything of it.
There are no suspects. Police are investigating.
