Aaron Hernandez’s older brother was arrested on March 23 for throwing a brick into ESPN headquarters in Bristol, CT.

The elder Hernandez, named Dennis “D.J.” Hernandez, was apparently upset by the news coverage on the sports channel and decided to do something about it. He threw the brick with a note, according to TMZ Sports.

“To all media outlets,” the message, which he signed, read: “It’s about time you all realeyes [sic] the affect media has on all family members. Since you’re a worldwide leader maybe you could lead how media and messages are delivered brick by brick. Clean it up!”

Police responded to a welfare check for him after e threatened to throw bricks at ESPN and the Connecticut State Capitol.

Police arrested him for breach of peace and released him on the promise of returning to the court next month. We all know by now the troubled history of Aaron Hernandez. But little is known about his brother DJ or the rest of his family.

His older brother did go on to write a book about this younger brother. It addressed some of the issues surrounding his brother and his death in, “The Truth About Aaron: My Journey to Understand My Brother.”

But it’s apparent, Aaron Hernandez isn’t the only troubled family member.
