Groundbreaking scheduled for Friday on new Watertown City Hall project
WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on their new City Hall this week. City Manager Amanda Mack says it’ll be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. Earlier this spring, Huff Construction of Aberdeen was awarded a $4.2 million contract to remodel and expand the former Wells Fargo Bank building on Maple Street into a new City Hall.

Here's a list of some of the top Watertown and Aberdeen area performers from May 13-19: Boaz Raderschadt and Owen Spartz, Watertown — Raderschadt won the boys' shot put (56-11.25) and discus (163-0) and Spartz tied his school record a second-place vault of 15 feet, 9 inches in a meet at Brandon Valley. Raderschadt also won the shot put (56-11) and discus (154-11) in the Mark Wendelgass Relays at Huron.
