Carroll’s neighbors found the child unresponsive in their pool on September 25, 2022. Law enforcement arrived on-scene shortly after 1 p.m. that day.

The pool was located at a residence on Blue Ridge Drive in Charleston, Tennessee.

Bradley County Police say its unclear how long the child was in the water. However, they said they performed lifesaving efforts for hours.

Medical professionals declared the child dead.

Law enforcement officials said they then performed an extensive investigation.

This resulted in Carroll being indicted, charged and arrested on March 20, 2023.

They are holding him on a $35,000 bond.

We previously reported when they found the two-year-old deceased in September.
