ICE arrests DR national convicted of drug trafficking crimes
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has recently apprehended a 33-year-old man from the Dominican Republic following the completion of his prison sentence. Identified as Yeury Francisco Rodriguez, the individual was captured in Central Falls, Rhode Island by deportation officers from the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston’s Providence, Rhode Island field office.

Swampscott Town officials have been working with NOAA and EPA this week to develop a disposal plan. The disposal plan is to move the whale off the rocky narrow beach it is currently at, and move it to nearby land where it can be buried. This was determined as the best option due to the decomposition of the whale.

Manhole incident in Everett near Encore Boston Harbor, dozens without power
There was a manhole incident near the Encore Boston Harbor casino in Everett, Massachusetts, that left dozens of nearby residents without power on Saturday evening. The Everett Fire Department responded and told NBC10 Boston that there were no injuries. National Grid was also on scene and confirms these were not explosions. The Warriors won it all! Lawrence Academy rallied back after suffering a Game Two setback to run-rule Kerr-Vance Academy and win the NCISAA State Championship. Senior Zander Mizelle raced home on a wild pitch in the bottom of the fifth frame to establish Lawrence's 10-0 victory.
