Bright and beautiful Saturday; more clouds and a few showers late Sunday
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy and mainly dry. High: 78, Low: 60. High pressure remains situated over the Mid Atlantic today, keeping the weather calm and pleasant to start the first day/ weekend of June. Most of the day Sunday is dry with more clouds. A weak area of low pressure passes through Sunday night, bringing some spotty showers late day or overnight along with it. High temperatures today will be near 80 degrees and upper 70s Sunday. Another area of high pressure anchors itself as the new week begins. So, Monday and Tuesday will be dry with partly to mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the lower 80s in the afternoon. For the second half of the week, the humidity will start to come back up a little with dew points hovering in the 60s. Due to the heat and moisture, there is a chance that someone could see an isolated shower or thunderstorm starting Wednesday. It'll likely stay unsettled to close the week as an area of low pressure will set up to our north, bringing several rounds of rain to end the week.

Pleasant with mostly sunny skies today and Saturday; few showers arrive later Sunday
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and beautiful. High: 78 Low: 55. High pressure over the region kept us sunny and pleasant on Thursday, albeit a bit cool and breezy. The high will remain over the region to end the week and start the weekend. Temperatures will slowly start to climb back up Friday as the high starts to depart. Saturday's highs will be in the upper 70s with some 80-degree highs possible, especially further south. On Sunday, a weak area of low pressure passes through the region in the afternoon and evening, bringing the chance for scattered showers. This will also cool the temperatures a little bit with highs back in the lower and mid 70s. The beginning of the work week looks to be warm but dry as high pressure sets up over the area once again. Temperatures will climb back up into the low to mid 80s, especially by mid-week. Later Wednesday and Thursday will be our next best chance of rain after Sunday as an area of low pressure makes its way in our direction from the northwest. Dew points start to climb into the high 50s to start the new week and then into the low to mid 60s by mid-week. This means that it will start feeling humid again, especially by mid-week, as thunderstorm chances slowly rise later in the week.
