Bowling Green Rock Band Academy is ready to open Eats & Beats Music Festival

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A group of local music students will take the stage at the Eats and Beats Music Festival on Saturday.

Students from the Bowling Green Rock Band Academy are set to open up the festival at Circus Square Park.

The festival will also feature performances from Fat Box and Government Cheese and be headlined by the Kentucky Headhunters.

The students at the Rock Band Academy are excited to perform at the festival, as for some, this is their first time performing their songs on stage.

“We have two bands performing at the Eats & Beats Music Festival, and this is a pretty exciting opportunity for students to just perform and practice being in front of people and getting past any stage fright or anything,” drum instructor Yan Garza says.

The Rock Band Academy students will take the stage at 4 p.m. to open up the festivities for the Duncan Hines Days’ music festival.
