Free trolley tours during Duncan Hines Days: What to know

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Duncan Hines days kicks off soon, and one of the interesting things going on will be The Bowling Green Trolley.

We’ve talked about it several times on News 40, and if you haven’t had a chance to get on board yet, you’ll have a couple of chances here soon. During Duncan Hines Days, the trolley will be offering free mini tours with a special guest to accompany you on your ride.

Bowling Green’s Historic RailPark and Train Museum will take you back in time next week in the spirit of good eating.

Jeff Moore, who will be playing Hines, said when he started educating himself on the famed WKU alum, he said, “Well it’s cake mix, how exciting can he be?”

But came to love the man Hines was. Moore said as a traveling salesman, Hines was a great storyteller, and he can’t wait until Duncan Hines Days share a little history with the community.
